Booking & pricing

Two to four days is comfortable. Next-day slots exist and cost $35 extra when the route has room. During spring cleanout season and the last week of the month, book a week out if you can — turnovers eat the calendar.

Delivery, a 7-day rental, pickup, hauling, disposal up to your bin's weight limit, and Ohio tax. One number, paid at booking.

No. There are three possible extras and we publish all of them: $85 per ton over your weight limit, $12 per day past day seven, and $45 per prohibited item we have to pull and dispose of separately. Nothing else gets added after the fact.

Yes, automatically. Keep the bin past day seven and it's $12 a day until you request pickup. No call, no new contract, no penalty rate.

Free up to 24 hours before your delivery window. Inside 24 hours we keep a $45 dispatch fee, because the truck and the driver are already committed to your slot.

Delivery & placement

No. Our bins are a fraction of the loaded weight of a standard roll-off, we place them with a hoist instead of dragging them off a tilt bed, and plywood boards go under the contact rails on every delivery. Tell us at booking if you have aging concrete or decorative pavers and we'll double-board. If we ever mark your surface, we fix it.

Wherever you tell us, as long as the truck can reach it: driveway, alley pad, parking area, or a flat spot on gravel. Leave placement notes in your booking — 'left of the garage door, doors facing the house' is the kind of detail that saves everybody a phone call.

Not for a private driveway. If the only option is the street, Columbus requires a right-of-way permit and historic districts like German Village have extra placement rules. We'll tell you during booking if your address looks like a street placement, and we'll walk you through it.

That's the whole reason we exist. The Kit is 4.5 feet wide and 8 feet long — it fits single-width and shared drives that turn away every other company in town. Send a photo if you're unsure and we'll tell you honestly which bin will fit.

No. You'll get a two-hour window the night before and a photo of the placement once the bin is down. Just make sure the spot is clear and any gate is unlocked.

What can go in the bin

Household junk, furniture, mattresses, carpet, drywall, lumber, cabinetry, fixtures, siding, shingles, general renovation debris, and yard waste. Load it level with the top rail — anything mounded above the rail has to come off before we can legally haul it.

Paint, solvents, oil, fuel, propane tanks, tires, car batteries, appliances containing refrigerant, asbestos, medical waste, and anything else classified as hazardous. Franklin County won't take them and neither will we. Mattresses and electronics are fine but carry a small per-item fee shown at booking.

In small amounts, yes — but ask first. Heavy material hits a weight limit long before it fills a bin, and a half-full Kit of concrete can be over a ton. For a mostly-masonry job we'll usually route you to a dedicated heavy-debris load instead of charging you overage.

It's $85 per additional ton, billed from the scale ticket at the transfer station, and we send you the ticket. No estimating, no round-ups.

Pickup

Tap the pickup link in your confirmation email, or text (614) 858-8516. Most pickups happen within one business day.

Yes, and it costs nothing. Finishing on day three instead of day seven is great for us — that bin goes back into rotation.

Keep it. It's $12 a day past day seven, added automatically, and you don't need to tell us in advance.

It goes to a licensed Franklin County transfer station. Metal, appliances and clean cardboard get pulled for recycling before disposal wherever the load makes that possible.

Why Rowdy Raccoon

Built for tight lots and short patience.

01

Fits tight spaces

Our bins start at 8 feet long — short enough for a German Village driveway, an alley pad, or a shared drive without blocking your neighbor in.

02

Instant online booking

Pick a size, pick a date, see your price, done. You never have to call anyone for a quote — the price on the screen is the price you pay.

03

Same-week delivery

Most bins land within two days of booking, next-day when the calendar allows. You'll get a two-hour delivery window the night before.

04

Flat rate, no surprises

Delivery, pickup, disposal and taxes are all in the one number. Weight overages are the only extra, and we tell you the limit up front.

How it works

Three steps. One of them is yours.

1 · Pick size and date

Answer four questions online. Your address confirms we cover you, and the price shows before you pay.

2 · We drop it in the driveway

Protective boards down, bin placed where you asked, driveway exactly how we found it.

3 · We haul it away

Seven days included. Tap "pick up" in your confirmation email whenever you're done — sooner is fine.

Managing a listing or a tenant turnover?

We work with Columbus agents and property managers on fast, repeatable cleanouts — priority scheduling, one point of contact, invoicing available.

How it works

Four steps, and you only have to do one of them.

1

Choose your bin and your date

The booking form asks for four things: your delivery address, the bin you want, the date you want it, and what you're throwing out. That's it. Your address confirms coverage before you spend any time on the rest, and the project type just helps us send the right truck setup.

Pricing is calculated on the spot from bin size, delivery date and your part of town. Delivery, pickup, disposal up to the weight limit and taxes are all inside the number you see. Nothing is quoted later.

2

We deliver to your driveway

The night before, you'll get a two-hour arrival window by text. You don't need to be home — but you do need the spot clear: cars moved, gate unlocked if the bin is going out back, and a note in your booking if you want it left of the garage, at the alley pad, or tight to the house.

Our bins ride on a hoist-equipped pickup rather than a full roll-off truck, so nothing heavy has to swing wide across your lawn or curb strip. We set protective boards under the rails on concrete, asphalt and pavers alike.

The question everybody asks

"Will it damage my driveway?"

Short answer: no, and that's the whole reason these bins are small. A loaded 4-yard bin spreads far less weight than a standard 20-yard roll-off, we place it with a hoist instead of dragging it off a tilt bed, and we put plywood boards under the contact rails on every delivery. If your drive is aging concrete or decorative pavers, say so in the booking notes and we'll double-board it. If we ever mark your surface, we fix it.

3

Fill it up

Yes: household junk, furniture, carpet, drywall, lumber, cabinetry, roofing, yard waste, and general renovation debris. Load level with the top rail — anything mounded above it has to come off before we can legally haul it.

No: paint and solvents, oil, propane tanks, tires, batteries, appliances with refrigerant, asbestos, and anything else hazardous. Mattresses and electronics are fine but carry a small per-item disposal fee we'll show you at booking.

Weight limits included: The Kit 1 ton · The Bandit 2 tons · The Alpha 3 tons. Over that it's $85 per additional ton, billed from the scale ticket. Heavy material — concrete, brick, dirt, shingles — fills a weight limit long before it fills the bin, so ask us before you load it.

4

We haul it away

Every rental includes seven days. When you're done, tap the pickup link in your confirmation email or text us — most pickups happen within one business day. Finishing early costs nothing and we'll come get it.

Need longer? Extensions are $12 a day, added automatically if you keep the bin past day seven. No paperwork, no penalty rate.

We started in the neighborhoods where big roll-offs don't fit. If your street was platted before 1930, you're exactly who we built this for.

Tight-lot specialty neighborhoods

Hand-drawn coverage map of Columbus neighborhoods

Why small bins matter here

A standard 20-yard roll-off needs about 60 feet of straight approach and 23 feet of drop space. Most German Village drives don't have half that, and a lot of Clintonville homes only have alley access behind the garage. Our longest bin is 14 feet and rides in on a pickup, so we can back down a single-width drive, place it square, and leave without touching your tree lawn or your neighbor's fence.

Realtors & property managers

Fast cleanouts for listings, staging, and tenant turnover.

Photos are Thursday, the bin needs to be gone Wednesday, and the volume is whatever the last tenant left behind. We schedule around your closing dates, not our route sheet.

Priority scheduling

Partner accounts get first call on next-day slots, including the Friday-before-photos scramble.

Repeat-volume pricing

Rates step down once you're booking regularly. Same flat structure, no per-job negotiation.

One point of contact

You text one number and get the owner, not a call center queue and a ticket number.

Invoicing, not checkout

Net-30 terms available for established accounts, with per-property references on every invoice.

Why partner with the small-bin company

→Your tightest listings — the century homes with the 9-foot drive — are the ones we're built for. Larger operators either decline them or park in the street and pull a permit.
→A 4-yard bin on the drive photographs far better than a 20-yard roll-off across the front of the house during a showing week.
→Occupied-building turnovers stay quiet: pickup-truck delivery, no tilt-bed banging at 7am, no blocked alley for your other tenants.
→Driveway-safe placement is in writing, which matters when the surface belongs to the seller and not to you.

About

Five bins, one truck, and a very specific problem.

How this started

A friend was gutting a bathroom in a 1904 house off Third Street. Three dumpster companies came out, looked at the driveway, and said the same thing: we can't get in there, park it in the street and pull a permit. The job took two extra weekends and eleven trips to the transfer station in a borrowed pickup.

The bins that fit these driveways exist. Nobody in Columbus was renting them to homeowners. So we bought five, put a hoist on a pickup, and started answering the phone — then built a website so you'd never have to use it.

Why a raccoon

Because we're not going to pretend a dumpster company is glamorous. Raccoons are native to Ohio, professionally interested in other people's garbage, and famously capable of fitting into spaces they have no business fitting into. That's the entire business model with a tail on it.

The mascot is the fun part. The scheduling, the boarded driveways and the flat rate are the serious part, and we'd rather be memorable about the first and boring about the second.
